Join us at Faaberg on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 7 p.m. for Ash Wednesday worship, communion and imposition of ashes. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent–the 40 days prior to Easter (excluding Sundays). Reminder: There will be a parish council meeting following Ash Wednesday worship. This meeting was rescheduled because of bad weather last week.
There will not be worship at Ness or Sundal on January 5. Faaberg will have worship and communion at 8:30 a.m. and Gary at 10:30 a.m.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship and Communion will be held at 4 p.m. at Faaberg and 10 p.m. at Gary.
Christmas Day Worship and Communion will be held at 9 a.m. at Sundal and 10:30 a.m. at Ness.

DO YOU LOVE TO SING? OR JUST LOVE MAKING PEOPLE SMILE?! We are meeting to go caroling at the Living Center in Fertile at 6 pm or at the Gary church at 6 pm Wednesday. Confirmation students please sign in you can go to either place…DRESS WARM…and we will need plenty of drivers in Fertile, and possibly Gary if it is too cold to walk! God bless you! PS this is not for youth only, and anyone is welcome to join us…any ages!
Thanksgiving Eve Worship will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at 7 p.m. at Gary Lutheran Church. All are welcome!
There is one Sunday left to bring non-perishable food items to worship. These items will be used to make baskets to give to those in need in our community. The baskets will be delivered the Monday before Thanksgiving. If you know of someone who could use a food basket, please contact the church office or talk to a Gary WELCA member.
